       Sloppy Joes, that messy American sandwich of browned ground beef swimming in a rich, sweetish tomato sauce, and spooned on a bun was one of my favorite Saturday meals as a kid. Mom would make it from scratch but that was before the canned version came along. Today, we still have sloppy joes about once a month but find it much easier to use the canned sauce.
   Del Monte Sloppy Joe sauce is my choice. It tastes closer to Mom's than any other that I have tried. It has a rich, smooth, and hearty taste without the tomato bite that other brands have and without any artificial preservatives.

Ingredients: Tomato Puree (Water, Tomato Paste), Corn Syrup, Distilled Vinegar, Red and Green Bell Peppers, Salt, Worcestershire Sauce (Water, Vinegar, Molasses, Corn Syrup, Anchovies, Natural Flavor, Tamarinds, Onions, Salt, Garlic, Shallots, Cloves, Chili Peppers), Modified Food Starch, Spices, Dried Onions, Dried Garlic, Natural Flavor.
